We weren't exactly high school sweet hearts, but we did become great friends (with tucked away feelings) our senior year. Then came time for college and he went up north while I stayed close to home. We talked on and off for the last three years. Then by chance and lucky timing we spoke again after the longest time and realized those feelings we ignored in high school were back, stronger than before. It was all so easy, like magic or something called true love. Of course, love isn't like magic or always easy, but we have decided that we want to experience all of life and love together. So here's to us and being human, may we be each other's best friend and always keep the other and ourselves in a place of love.
